The class coin pool
Students do not spend their own coins. You move coins from your own balance into the class pool, and their books and narration are paid from it.
- Open your class and choose Coins.
- Choose how many coins to move from your balance into the pool.
- Confirm. The pool shows the new total.
- You can take back unspent coins at any time.
- If you delete a class, the pool returns to you.
- If a book fails, its coins return to the pool.
The daily limit
Each student can use at most a set number of coins a day from the pool. The default is 10. You can set it anywhere from 1 to 30.
One coin pays for one illustrated page. Narration costs 1 coin for each page. The day resets at midnight UTC. A student who reaches the limit sees a message to ask you.
No-real-names mode
Each class has a switch for no-real-names mode. When it is on, the roster, the library labels, the progress table, the printed sheet and the CSV file show an alias such as “Blue Fox 3” instead of the student’s name.
Students still see their own name on their own screen.

Students see “ask your teacher” and the pool is empty
Students’ books and narration are paid from the class pool. When it is empty, they cannot make more. Open the class, choose Coins, and move coins from your own balance into the pool.
Open ClassesOne student sees “ask your teacher” but the pool has coins
That student has reached the daily limit. The limit is for each student, not for the whole class. It resets at midnight UTC. You can raise it, up to 30 coins a day, on the class page.
Open ClassesA student’s book failed
When a book fails, its coins return to the class pool, not to you and not to the student. Nothing is lost.
