How coins work
Coins pay for books. Here is where they come from, where you see them, and why they never run out on you.

Coins are what a book costs. One coin buys one illustrated page. New accounts start with 10 coins. That is enough for a book of up to 8 pages, before add-ons such as extra characters.

Where coins come from
- The welcome bonus, when you create an account.
- A plan, which adds coins every month.
- A coin pack, bought once whenever you need more.
- A gift — a friend can give you a year of stories.
Coins on the way
On the yearly plan you pay once for the year, and the coins arrive one month at a time. The ones still to come are shown as on the way, beside your balance — not inside it. They are already paid for, and they keep arriving every month even if you cancel.
