Teacher tools let one grown-up run a class of readers. Each student gets their own limited login, and the books they make are paid from a pool of coins that you control.
Turn on teacher tools
- Open Settings.
- Turn on the I teach a class switch.
- Open the menu. A Classes page is now there.
Create a class
On the Classes page, create a class and give it a name. The name can be up to 60 characters. You can have up to 20 classes.
Every class has a 6-character class code. You see it on the class page and on the printed sheet. It names the class. A student does not type it to sign in.
Add students
- One by one. Type a name and add it.
- Paste a list. Put one name on each line and paste the whole list. You can add up to 100 students at once.
Each student gets a personal 6-character access code. The student uses it to sign in. See “How students sign in, and what you see”.
Ve comprobando
Empieza por arriba: las comprobaciones están ordenadas por la causa más habitual.
There is no Classes page in the menu
Teacher tools are off by default. Open Settings and turn on the I teach a class switch. The Classes page then appears in the menu.
Open SettingsYou cannot create another class
One account can have up to 20 classes. Delete a class you no longer need, then create the new one. Deleting a class returns its unspent coins to you.
Open ClassesSome names from my list were not added
You can add up to 100 students at once, one name on each line. If your list is longer, add the rest in a second batch. Empty lines are skipped.
